This is a drawing study we did, where we had to copy a photocopy of a painting. The photocopies were horrible quality too.
This one i actually got to about 90% complete. I planned to not draw the leaves in the painting and leave them as negative space. I started with a shading technique that I used on the earth and the stump on the right, but then another student showed me the shading technique i used on the rest of the trees (and a little on the stump) and it came out far superior to what I would have done on my own. I am forever grateful to him, though I have lost contact with him. Download for full size - ????x2048 |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
